Stock - Original VW paint color (may be repainted). No body modifications - must have original type bumpers. Stock wheels - including stock, period chrome wheels or period accessory wheels. Stock looking engines with stock exhaust and tailpipe. Period accessories only. No custom interior parts. Non-period radios and speakers if they do not distract from basic stock appearance. 6-volt models may be converted to 12-volt. |

Modified Stock - Custom paint allowed (two colors maximum). Only body modifications allowed are de-chroming and one piece door windows. Same size custom wheels and tires allowed. Engine modifications limited to simple bolt-on or chrome items only. Suspension may be lowered or raised. Window tinting allowed. Interior changes limited to simple add on items. Simple bolt on custom or chrome items only. |

| Original Stock – Original body, paint, interior, accessories, etc. from date of manufacture or original use. Items are allowed to be remanufactured/rebuilt but points based on original un-restored condition and age of vehicle. |  |
Custom - Anything goes. Any paint. Any size wheel and tire combo. Any engine. Chrome suspension pieces allowed. Any bolt on custom accessory - fiberglass included. Any interior modifications. Any sound system allowed. |

| Daily Driver - Your main source of transportation. Must be driven to the show. |

| Competition - Cars meant for competition racing. Dragsters, Oval Track Racers, etc... | |
Baja - Any VW vehicles equipped with after-market Baja kits. |

Rail - Any boxed or tubular frame on a VW chassis. Street legal or not. (Includes Sandrails) |

Campers - All VW Bus type vehicles equipped with camping equipment. |
|
Fiberglass Buggies - Short wheelbase tub buggies. |
|
Special Interest - Any VW based kit, unusual modification, extreme custom, one-of-a-kind, or just weird car, truck, boat, airplane, etc. |
