Accomodations
The show continues to grow in size and this year we've outgrown our old camping spot on
the north end of the park. Instead, we will be camping in the RV park
area at the south end of the park. There is still plenty of room
for tent and VW campers and no reservations are necessary, however
if you plan to camp please RSVP to the park directly (830-997-4202)
to give them an idea of how many to expect and possibly open up more room.
All camping spots are first come first serve.
The old camping area, down by the river, will still be available as usual
during the day, but must be vacated by 10pm when the park closes.
Cost is $10 per night for primitive tent or VW camping,
or $30 per night for an RV space with electric, water, sewer and cable TV hookups.
If you require an RV space please contact the RV park directly at (830) 997-4202 to make reservations.
We have all RV spots on hold until April 1st so you must mention the Texas VW Classic when making reservations.
RV spaces are large enough to hold two buses so please consider buddying up!
#1: Normal park tent camping area available year round.#2: Will be made available to us for camping starting Friday.
#3: May be available as spill-over incase we fill #1 and #2.

Sunset Inn Motel & SuitesWe have 24 rooms, 12 singles, 9 doubles and 2 king rooms. We are offering special rates for the participants - $45.00 for a single room (queen size bed), $55.00 for a double room (2 queen size beds with a refrigerator and microwave) and $69.00 for a king room. We have recently refurbished our rooms (including pillow top beds) and they are very nice. We are a single level motel and our patrons are able to park right outside their room. There is a large parking area in a horseshoe shape that is very accommodating to gatherings. We are one of the closet motels to Lady Bird Park in Fredericksburg. We are the only hotel/motel in town with a restaurant on premise; the Sunset Grill, an award winning restaurant serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week beginning at 7:00 am.
